Human Rights Guidelines

  • Observance of working hours
LG Display complies with the working hours set by the labor relations laws and regulations of each country and region. If there is no relevant law, the weekly working hours are managed not to exceed 60 hours in accordance with the RBA regulations.
  • Respect for human rights
LG Display respects all executives and employees as human beings and strives to prevent harsh and inhumane treatment such as sexual harassment, workplace harassment, and labor exploitation.
  • Wages and benefits
For regular hours and overtime hours, wages are paid in excess of the minimum level set by the labor relations laws and regulations of each country and region. LG Display provides pay stubs and does not reduce wages as a disciplinary action.
  • Prohibition of forced labor
LG Display does not force employees to work against their free will by unfairly restricting their physical and mental freedom. All work must be done voluntarily, employee ID cards and related documents are not kept, and freedom of movement is guaranteed.
  • Freedom of Association of Workers' Unions
LG Display provides opportunities for free communication among employees, guarantees freedom of association and three labor rights (right to organize, right to collective bargaining, right to collective action), and prohibits unfair treatment. LG Display also respects the right of workers to participate or not participate in such activities.
  • No discrimination
LG Display does not discriminate against employees based on their gender, race, nationality, ethnicity, disability, religion, union activity, pregnancy or marital status, or outbreak of an infectious disease.
  • Prohibition of child labor
LG Display prohibits the employment of minors under the age of 15 and excludes workers under the age of 18 from high-risk jobs in terms of safety and health. If child labor (under 15 years of age) is discovered after hiring, immediate action is taken according to the prescribed procedure.
"Child" means under 15 years of age (or the age subject to national legal restrictions), or the age to complete compulsory education, or the respective national minimum age for employment, whichever is greater.
