ESG bonds are an umbrella term for bonds which incorporate ESG considerations, a key difference from conventional bonds.
ESG bonds include Environment, Social, Sustainability bonds which are usually aligned with the International Capital Market Association (ICMA)
Green Bond Principles, Social Bond Principles, and Sustainability Bond Guidelines respectively.
Green Bond
Green Bond is a bond whose proceeds are used to fund environment-friendly projects.
More specifically, green bonds finance projects aimed at energy efficiency, pollution prevention, and the cultivation of environmentally friendly technologies.
